Appearance
Human Form: In her animal form her eyes change colors according to her mood. Though in her human form, she can control them from changing colors as long as she concentrates. So, they usually look clear, maybe a bit blue. Many think she's blind when they first meet her. Her hair is a deep, dark, ebony. It's silky straight, wisping down her back and over her shoulders, all the way to her hips. She has a very thin frame, with slender, but strong bones. Pale, white skin covers her skinny figure, contrasting beautifully against her dark hair.
Animal Form(cat-fox): She appears to be a basic white fox at first glance; but if you look closer you'll begin to notice the little differences. Her limbs and body are much thinner than a canines', her paws are very small, with long retractable claws. With the bone frame of a cat, she has the ability to fit in very tight places, and is very flexible. Her whiskers, like a cats' work to allow her to know where she can fit in places, yet her nose works like a canines', very keen in scenting and tracking. She has a shorter muzzle, more like a cats', with sharper teeth than a dogs'. Her tail and ears, however, take on the looks of a fox, as well as her size. She's bigger than the normal house cat, but smaller than the average fox. Her claws, and light-weight body allows her to be an expert jumper and climber. She, basically, has the best of both worlds.

Species: Shape-shifter. She appears humans, but can shape shift into a white hybrid mix of a cat and a fox.

History
We'll start with why her parents aren't listed under the family section. Her father was a rare breed in the shape-shifter population. The hybrid of a cat/fox. Many of them in the past were thought of to be weak. Now, here they are, generations later. They continued to breed, and eventually joined together to create a clan of their own species. Though they were thought not to be as strong at were wolves, they had many other advantages. Their cat-like builds, thin frames, slender bodies, pale skin, retractable claws, and light weight allowed them to do so many other things that the wolves could not do. They're also incredibly fast, amazing jumpers, and much stronger than they look. They are considered to be the more charming of canines. They have a certain charm about them, with the power to seduce anyone into anything.
Her mother was actually a human. That's all I have to say about her. Neither parent was really there for their children. They were often gone throughout their childhood. Alei and Alecks never knew where the were, what they were doing, or even what they truely were. One day, they just never came back... Alecks, being the oldest took over the household, taking care of his little sister. He got a job, and broke into the family's savings to help pay the bills until he could pay them himself. They were used their parents never being around, so this wasn't much of a change for them. For years the two lived, supporting each other, still not knowing what became of their parents. Then when Alei turned 13 she started to notice different things about her. Changes that weren't normal. Her teeth, and nails grew abnormally long. Her eyes changed colors. Slowly, she learned how to control these things. She could shift into a cat/fox.
Having never kept anything from her brother, she decided to tell him. He told her he too had experienced strange changes. He, as wel, was a shifter. When he said he was going out hunting, he did mean hunting, but not with a gun...
One day, while rumaging through their parent's things, Alei stumbled across an old diary. Within she found all the answers. The answers to the questions that constantly ran through her mind. Why they were so different. What was happening to them. Why their parents left... Suddenly she felt a new understanding for them. Why they couldn't be there all those times. They were protecting them. From what... she still couldn't be exactly sure. And she feared that she would never know where they had went, and if they were ever return again. Or even if they were still alive.
Roleplay Sample
When she heard him speak, shivers raced down her spine. Even after knowing him for months, everytime she heard his voice, she found she couldn't control her emotions. His voice lingered in the air around her, no matter what he said or how he said it, it was remarkable. Just like the rest of him. From what she already knew, anyways. The words had just left his mouth, and within seconds she was ready to answer.
But before she had the chance to reply, he raised his hand, fingers trailing down her pale cheek. Then... She felt his lips brush against hers. The touch was gentle, affectionate. His tongue trailed past her lips and into her mouth, just barely sliding across her own tongue. She could feel his breath just under her chin. Her heart quickened, but she stayed calm, like always. This was her favorite of all games. And she was good at it. When he backed away she raised her eyes to his, seeing him quickly regret doing what he just did. Well, maybe not regret, but he looked a little ashamed. Shy.
Giving him a michevious smile, she stood, and stepped forward leaning into him slowly. Wrapping her fingers around his neck, she ran her tongue through his lips, kissing him back passionately. Then she pressed her cheek against his softly, raising her lips to his ear. She whispered his name. "Grey..." Her voice trailed off into a soft sigh, then she backed away to face him again. "I love you too..."
The pause was far too long for Grey... He wanted to taste her lips again, grabbing her by the waist, he pulled her closer, onto his chest, pressing his lips into hers once more. When her lips parted, his tongue slipped through again, under hers'. Their lips closed, then opened again, his around her bottom lip, hers over his top. She ran her fingers up his back, along his neck, and through his dark bronze hair, pushing herself against him, knocking the two into the wall behind them. Neither cared, if they even noticed.
That's when Alei lifted her lips from his, kissing his cheek, along his jaw and down his neck. Her lips parted, tongue snaking across his skin. She could smell his blood, warm, enticing as it ran through his veins. She was so close... Feeling his fingers move from her hips, under the hem of her shirt, she decided it was time. His hands trailed slowly, gently, as if waiting for her to stop him. Opening her mouth wider, as his fingers inched along her rib cage, she bared her fangs and bit down...
