Summer started with a searing heat wave, which has gradually been tapering off. Now that the coastal winds have begun cooling central Rhyallia off, summer trading is again picking up. There are concerns that the intense heat may be a sign of a hard, hot summer and worries over crop failure.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved creating stories. Writing, drawing, role-playing--they all create stories, so they've all been a part of my life in one form or another. When I originally started Identity (2008!?! Where has the time gone?), I wanted a fairly open-ended role-play, where people were free to come and simply create. Of course, I also run the site. Mostly, that means I'm happy to talk with anyone who comes by. Feel free to add your suggestions (we have a whole board for that!) or comments or thoughts...or whatever.

I've always enjoyed writing, but I only started roleplaying when my friend recruited me to an RP site four years ago (where's the time gone?!). Since then, I've improved a lot (my old stuff was cringe-worthy, trust me) and become a staff member on several sites, Identity included. Being a Global Mod usually involves being online when flippedside isn't, so there's usually one member of staff present to help out, and taking care of the ads as well as general rule enforcement. Which I'm hoping you little angels won't need...right?

Language 1: Infrequent, mild swearing is permitted.
Sexual Content 1: Mild sexual innuendo and references permitted. Nothing explicit allowed.
Violence 1.5: Mild, in-game narrations of violence are allowed. Explicit, graphic descriptions of violence are not allowed.

Brand new, Proboards v5 board! Open (again) for role-playing. Yay! That said, I am still updating some images, so if some of the images don't match and/or seem half done...It's probably because I haven't completed or updated them yet. I didn't want to leave the board in MM too long, and only I have a limited amount of time to work on it. So, there may still be some minor image updates. However, the code and layout is finished. Let the RPing begin!
