Rebel Base
Ashata has long been known for its sympathies to the rebels...probably because there's a large (hidden) rebel base in a narrow canyon to the south. The caves lining the canyon are ideal storehouses, and meandering paths through the mountains make it difficult to find even by those who know it's there. The surrounding mountains are often used for mock fights and training.
