Wait! That math stuff is used in real careers all the time. For example...I know an artist that used algebra to mix casting material for the casting of sculptures. My nurse friends use algebra to mix IV solutions. I know a construction worker who uses geometry to figure the size of beams when building homes. I used Calculus when doing computer programming (which is one of the reasons I'm not a computer programmer). Having said all that...math homework is pretty boring!

But what I'm saying is this:
WHY did we invent calculators only to plan for a future where they will be permanently unavailable? I don't need to learn most of this stuff when there are those nifty little calculators. I could be sitting at home doing nothing for an extra hour, but noooooo, we have to do MATH!!!
